What is the uSeat® system?
The uSeat® is an innovative U-shaped seating and twin bench system designed specifically for campervans. It creates a social lounge area that effortlessly transforms into a full-width double bed.

Which van models are compatible with uSeat®?
Currently, we offer bespoke layouts for the VW T5, T6 and Ford Transit Custom (2012–2024).

Does it fit both Short Wheelbase (SWB) and Long Wheelbase (LWB) vans?
Yes, we have specific configurations for both SWB and LWB models to ensure a perfect fit for your vehicle’s dimensions.

Can I still carry passengers safely?
Absolutely. We offer TUV-tested belted versions of the uSeat® which include integrated 3-point seatbelts and ISOFIX points for child seats.

How does the bed conversion work?
The system uses smooth runners and folding bases that allow you to convert from a seating area to a 1850mm x 1600mm bed in seconds.

How difficult is the installation?
The uSeat® is designed for DIY enthusiasts. It features a “jigsaw” style rebated design with pilot-holed components, making assembly straightforward with basic tools.

Can the system be removed once installed?
Yes! One of the unique features of the uSeat® Multi is that the entire interior can be removed in minutes, allowing your van to switch from a weekend camper to a weekday work van.

What tools will I need?
Standard automotive tools such as a drill, socket set, and hex keys are generally all that’s required for the flat-pack assembly. Each system comes with instructions and our support team are on hand for any questions.

Do I need to modify my van floor?
Your van floor must have an overall thickness of no greater than 16mm from the ribs for the system to sit correctly.

What materials are used in the construction?
We use high-pressure laminate (HPL) for durability, 12mm birch plywood for strength, and solid oak for worktops and tables.

Can I choose the colour of the cushions?
Yes, our 4-inch memory foam cushions are available in 11 different colours to match your interior style.

Do you provide samples?
We recommend requesting material samples from our supplier, Morland, before purchasing to ensure you are happy with the colour in person.

Is a kitchen pod included?
Most uSeat® kits come with a kitchen pod as standard, featuring a fridge aperture and optional sink/hob cut-outs.

What is the current lead time?
Bespoke kits typically take 30 business days (6 weeks). However, our uSeat Multi is a stocked item that can be dispatched in as little as 5 working days.

How much is delivery?
Standard UK Mainland delivery is £95 and must be selected during the order process (this is not added at checkout)

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we offer European flat-pack delivery for a flat rate of £350.00.

Can I collect my order?
Yes, you can select “Collection” at checkout to pick up your order from our showroom in Torpoint (PL11 3AX).

What is your return policy for bespoke items?
Because our seating systems are custom-made to your specification, we cannot offer returns for changes of mind once production has started.

What if a part arrives damaged?
Please inspect your delivery and report any damage within 5 working days. We will provide replacement parts free of charge to rectify any issues.
